2 cups walnuts
375g firm tofu (SOYCO brand)
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 teaspoons bottled garlic
1 ½ - 2 tablespoons Massell stockpowder (beef style)
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ cup rice crumbs
2 teaspoons guar gum to bind
Place walnuts into food processor and process until crumbs. Add remaining ingredients (except crumbs & guar gum) and process until smooth and well mixed. Stir in crumbs and vegetable gum and with wet hands, mold into thin, flat steaks. Fry both sides in oil until golden brown and then place on a plate surface or plate while they slightly harden more.
