Beetroot Dip (GF)


425g tinned beetroot, drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic, bottled
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
¼ cup soy cream cheese

Place all ingredients into food processor and process until well combined.  Ready to serve.

White Bean & Garlic Dip (GF)

¾ cup cashews
1 cup water
¼ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
2-4 tablespoon oil
¾ teaspoon salt
2-3 fresh garlic cloves
1 teaspoon onion powder
400g tin of drained butter beans

Place all ingredients (except butter beans) into blender and blend for 2 minutes or until smooth. Empty tin of butter beans into blender and blend for 30 seconds. Ready to serve as a dip.

Jeremiah 32:17

Salsa (GF)

2 medium chopped tomatoes
½ medium chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped capsicum
½ cup water
½ cup tomato paste (or sauce)
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic
1/8 teaspoon dried coriander or ½ - 1 teaspoon fresh coriander
½ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cumin
3 teaspoons cornflour
2 ½ teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or agave nectar
½ - 1 teaspoon chilli paste - optional

Note: If using tomato sauce instead of paste, reduce the lemon juice, salt & the sweetener.
                            
In a small cup, mix the cornflour and the water together. Place cornflour mixture and remaining ingredients into small saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes with lid on. Cool, then place in a jar in fridge.

Chunky Thai Dip (GF)

¾ cup cashews
1 cup fresh coriander leaves
¼ cup “parmesan cheese” 
2 – 4 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon ginger (bottled or fresh)
2 teaspoon lemongrass (bottled or fresh)
chilli powder or cayenne pepper to taste
2 tablespoon lime juice
¼ teaspoon salt
(add water if needed)


Note: This recipe is best done in a small food processor.  If you only have a large food processor – double the mixture.

Place cashews in small food processor and process until crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and continue to process until well blended. Ready to eat!

Pesto (GF)


1 1/2 cups cashews or Macadamias
2 garlic cloves
4 1/2 tablespoons savoury yeast flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons Himalayan salt
1/4 cup or less of fresh lemon juice
4 cups fresh sweet basil leaves
1 cup mild olive oil (or more)


Place nuts in food processor and process until crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and continue to process until well blended. Ready to eat!

Olive Dip (GF)

¾ cup cashews
¾ cup pitted black olives
¼ cup “parmesan cheese” 
¼ cup oil
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon salt


Note: This recipe is best done in a small food processor.  If you only have a large food processor – double the mixture.

Place cashews in food processor and process until crumbs. Add remaining ingredients and continue to process. Ready to eat!

2 Chronicles 20:15

Dukkah (GF)

¼ cup whole almonds
½ cup natural pistachios (85g)
¼ teaspoon ground cumin 
¼ teaspoon ground coriander 
sprinkle of onion & garlic powders
¼ teaspoon salt
whole fennel & sesame seeds - optional


Place all ingredients into food processor and process on low for 30 seconds. Then process on high for ½ to 1 minute, depending on how chunky you desire the dip. If adding seeds, mix in last. To store, keep in airtight container in refrigerator.

NOTE:  To serve, dip crackers into olive oil and then dip in Dukkah.

Guacamole Dip (GF)

2 avocadoes
3 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
sea salt to taste


Mash ingredients together with fork or place in food processor and blend until smooth.

Hommus (GF)



1 ½ cups pre-cooked chick peas (or 425g tin)
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon lemon juice
water if needed

Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.  You may need to stop blender and push mixture down from sides regularly. Ready to serve.
